Tracing back the root of Ling Lam Tit Tar leads to one of China’s most renowned Tit Tar master, the legendary Wong Fei Hung. He was credited as a folk hero, revolutionary, healer, philosopher, and martial artist extraordinaire who went on to be immortalised in more than 100 Hong Kong films. Although the films were mainly focused on his expertise in the Hung Ga style of Chinese martial arts, his real fame was a physician who practiced and taught traditional Chinese medicine like acupuncture, Tit Tar and etc.

Mr. Lam Sai Wing, the great grandmaster of Ling Lam Tit Tar’s founder master Ngui Pong, was one of the most successful & influenced disciple of Wong Fei Hung. He was highly skilled in Hung Ga style martial art & traditional Chinese medicine, and was appointed as the Chief Instructor in hand-to-hand combat for an army in Fujian. Furthermore, master Lam was among the first to use photography to document & publish traditional martial arts.
Mr. Song Shao Bo, was a prized disciple of Grandmaster Lam Sai Wing back in Hong Kong.
